Our current rule engine and operational workflow are limited to fixed EC261 compensation. We will handle a British UK261 claim only after British limitation periods, competent ADR routes and templates have been approved as a separate policy version.
A departure from Great Britain is not automatically treated as an EC261 departure. EC261 may apply to a flight into the EU when the carrier and route meet the EU conditions.
